Money and time boundaries
Set an amount that does not touch rent, food, bills, debt payments or other essentials. Choose an exact end time and a break away from the screen. Both decisions work best before the first round, not after a result changes how the session feels.
Make the Pause Plan specific
Write a number rather than “spend less”, and a clock time rather than “stop soon”. Decide where the money boundary sits, what device reminder will mark the end and what action follows the reminder. The action might be closing the browser, putting the phone in another room or contacting the person named in the plan.
Do not move the boundary because a session is close to recovering an earlier loss. The amount already spent does not create a better next result.
Warning signs that deserve a pause
- Extending time or spending to recover a previous loss
- Hiding activity or borrowing money
- Missing sleep, work, study or family commitments
- Finding it difficult to stop at the chosen limit
This is a non-diagnostic checklist. A concern does not need a label before it deserves support.
Self-exclusion information
BC.GAME publishes its own self-exclusion information. BCGAME.WIKI cannot start, manage or test that process. Read the current policy at the service concerned and keep a record of any request or confirmation.
Choose support before it is urgent
A support route is easier to use when it is selected in advance. Save the official page, tell one trusted person what kind of help is useful and decide what should happen to access to money or devices during a pause. This is practical planning, not a diagnosis.
Tele-MANAS is a general mental-health support service. The national 112 system is for emergencies. Neither service handles a BC.GAME account, payment or promotion, and this site makes no response-time promise.
Protect children and other household members
Keep credentials and payment information private, do not leave a signed-in device unattended and use age-appropriate device controls. A household member should not be made responsible for monitoring another person’s losses.
Keep the plan easy to reach
Print the Pause Plan, place it near the device and name one trusted person or verified service to contact when the limits begin to move. Add the exact time and amount instead of relying on memory. If a break begins, remove saved payment details where appropriate, silence promotional notifications and move away from the screen.
Review the plan with the trusted person before a difficult moment, including what kind of contact is welcome and what should happen if a boundary is crossed. The responsible-gaming questions keep the support links in one place.
